Nowadays go walking in the mountains has become a kind of popular sport, but this adventures could be very dangerous if you don't get some cares.
Let's start with footwear, it's important to take a comfort one, special for long walking, resistant, waterproof, if possible with ankle support to avoid accidents. Depending were you're going you must take some special clothes, if the weather does't help, so warm jackets to not freeze on winters, clothes with an attractive color, like red, blue, yellow, in case you get lost. Take a sun hat in summer is nice.
Your journey had to be plan, so always take a map and compass, or a GPS to avoid surprises. Take enough food and drink for the day, water, fruits, energetic food in general.
Appropiate equipments like a rope, for climbs and crossing rivers, torch, a cellphone, all the equipment for camping, a tend and those stuffs. Before you go check the weather to know how will be the conditions.
Do not forget to be prepared for adventure, and of course get fun!
