Brazil will test super pill against cardiovascular disease

Four drugs in one tablet.
The drug must be tested in 22 hospitals in the country in four months.The first studies, made in Brazil by the Heart Hospital (HCor) in São Paulo indicated that the polypill reduced by 60% the risk of a person suffering a heart attack or stroke (CVA, stroke), in addition to controlling cholesterol and blood pressure.

The multitablet combines two substances to control blood pressure, which acts on cholesterol and another that prevents clogging of blood vessels of the heart. Proven preventive function of the drug, the researchers will now see how it works in patients who already have cardiovascular problems. China opens the largest bridge on sea in the world

China opened on Thursday (30) the longest sea bridge in the world with 36.48 kilometers, in the seashore city Qingdao.
The bridge, which had an investment of U.S. $ 2.3 billion and took four years to be built, connect the center of the city to its suburb of Parkview, on both sides of the bay Jiazhou.
With this bridge, the distance between two points of one of the main ports of China may be covered with a reduction from 20 to 40 minutes.
The new bridge overcomes the Hangzhou Bay, also in eastern China, and with 36 km was considered the longest in the world today.
There are several bridges on the land longest in the world, and the first three are also in China. The biggest one is for a high-speed train which make Beijing-Shanghai, 164.8 km, this service was also launched today.
The new wave of Chinese infrastructure construction was completed on Thursday with the opening of the world's longest gas pipeline, that will bring natural gas from Turkmenistan in Central Asia to China, in course of 8,700 kilometers.
The gas pipeline was built with an investment U.S. $ 21.98 billion and is the second that would carry natural gas from Central Asia to eastern China.
The openings coincide with the 90th anniversary of the Communist Party of China, founded in July 1, 1921. The date will be remembered with commemorative ceremonies at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing, and in many other cities in China.
